PostSubject: Marian Keyes   Mon Jan 12, 2009 11:56 am

Ok so I know no one has probably heard of her, she is an Irish writer and I personally think she is fantastic and her writing is so funny, if you ever get a chance to read her do you'll not regret it, I had to stop reading her out in public, because at random intervals I was laughing out loud!

Her books are:

Series
Walsh Family
1. Watermelon (1995)
2. Rachel's Holiday (1998)
3. Angels (2001)
4. Anybody Out There? (2006)
WatermelonRachel's HolidayAngelsAnybody Out There?

Novels
Lucy Sullivan Is Getting Married (1997)
Last Chance Saloon (1999)
No Dress Rehearsal (2000)
Sushi for Beginners (2000)
Yeats is Dead!: A Novel by Fifteen Irish Writers (2001) (with Anthony Cronin, Roddy Doyle, Hugo Hamilton, Frank McCourt, Pauline McLynn, Conor McPherson and Joseph O'Connor)
The Other Side Of The Story (2004)
This Charming Man (2008)

Blurb for........ Rachel's holiday:

Here's Rachel Walsh, twenty-seven and the miserable owner of size 8 feet. She has regular congress with Luke Costello, a man who wears his leather trousers tight. And she's fond - some might say too fond - of recreational drugs. Until she finds herself being frogmarched to the Cloisters - Dublin's answer to the Betty Ford Clinic. She's outraged. Surely she's not thin enough to be an addict? Heartsick and Luke-sick, she seeks redemption in the shape of Chris, a Man with a Past. A man who might be more trouble than he's worth.

She's great for a girly read!

I recognise the author's name, I'm sure I've read one of her books, but I don't recognise the titles.

That's going to annoy me 'til I figure out what it was I read!
