also a very well read author who can be found in most libraries. stories keep your attention from beginning to end making it hard to put her books down. she also has everything from historical all the way to a murder mystery type series.

Love love loooove Julie Garwood. My first historical romance author and she really got me hooked! I believe I own every single one of her books...except for Shadow Music...cuz it just came out in paperback...so next time I'm at the book store, that book is miiiiine!

I've already read it tho...had a few hours to spare between class and dance practice...so hopped over to borders and read the hardcover. xD

Ok. I haven't read this author before, but I just picked up Shadow Dance for 25 cents. Is this part of a series or is it a stand-alone?

Shadow Dance is part of her contemporary series - the Buchanan-Renard series
1. Heartbreaker (2000)
2. Mercy (2001)
3. Killjoy (2002)
4. Murder List (2004)
5. Slow Burn (2005)
6. Shadow Dance (2006)
7. Fire and Ice (2008)

hope that helps! I think it can also be read as a stand alone, but there are character overlaps, so it's nice to read them all too! ^-^

Thanks Alice! I hate to read a series out of order or as stand-alones. It's a much more enjoyable to read them in order. Guess I'll be on the lookout for good deals. I saw Killjoy at a local bookstore that's going out of business. Since I'm going back tomorrow I'll see if I can get it for the less then $2 like I did with the few I picked-up yesterday. 80% off lowest ticketed price, and most were marked down. Can't beat it

wow...what bookstore is that, Sue??? No fair! lol.

It's a good contemporary series, I think. romance, but lots of interesting twists and suspense. =) I spend most of the books trying to figure out who dun it...and in the end it was someone else!! grrr. =P haha

When you get started, you'll have to let me know what you think. ^-^

I'll definitely let you know what I think. I was in the bookstore the other day and got 3 trade paperbacks, 7 preschool workbooks and a coloring book for $8. It was great! I know I saw Killjoy and Murder List in HB marked down to $5.99 then 80% off that. I hope they have some left when I get there tomorrow.

I can't wait to get my taxes back, I'm gonna try not to spend every dime on books because I've got other things to take care of but its gonna be really really hard because of all these great books that everyone keeps talkin about!
