4 squares unsweetened chocolate
1/2 pound (2 sticks) butter
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup sifted flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups chopped pecans (optional)

Melt chocolate with butter in a small saucepan. Beat eggs well in large mixer bowl. Gradually beat in sugar until mixture is fluffy-thick. (This takes about 10 mintues in an electric mixer.) Stir in vanilla and chocolate mixture, then fold in flour, salt and nuts until blended. Pour into two 8 x 8 inch baking pans and bake in 350 degree oven at 25 mintues or until shiny and firm on top. Do not overbake, middle should be fudge-like. Cool and cut into squares, then enjoy!

shhhhhh*lookin' around* you ain't suppose to say nothin'!! and it ain't the sweet potatoes it's the "SPICE" you add to it that gives it that little somethin' extra! hehehehe Twisted Evil and if the sweet potatoe pie don't do the job I've got a whole slew of other things that works too, anything for any means!
